- Option 1: 100 Activity XP
- Option 2: Combination of Activity XP & Mentoring XP
- Members may opt into earning mentoring XP by mentoring people on how to integrate instructional technology into their lessons.
- This may be done through the 5-step mentoring cycle or through other mentoring activities
- Option 3: Vanguard Impact Plan + 50 Activity XP
- 50 Activity XP
- Vanguard Impact Plan (50 Activity XP)
- Creation of the plan (Oct/Nov) – 10 XP
- 1st Plan Review (Dec/Jan) – 15 XP
- 2nd Plan Review (Feb/Mar) – 15 XP
- Final Reflection (April) – 10 XP
Stipends
Stipends will be released twice during the year. Early stipend earners will get their $500 stipend in December. If you're not quite to your XP goal by the deadline for the December release, you will be eligible for the second round, which will be issued in February.

- Teachers & METIs must earn 40 points At least 20xp must come from any mentoring category by this date to get their stipend.
- Non-Instructional staff: Must earn 40 points by November 15th.
January 31st - Staying the Course Deadline!
- Teachers & METIs must earn 70 points At least 35xp must come from any mentoring category, by this date to get their stipend .
- Non-Instructional staff: Must earn 70 points by January 31st to earn their stipend.
